Dimsum Dinner at Crown Park Restaurant

When food is served in bamboo steamers, everyone giggles with excitement.

What would it looks like on the inside? Here’s one now.

Yes, we were in an Asian-themed restaurant in the metro. Crown Park Restaurant famous for its Asian/Chinese cuisine (and don’t forget Hung-ma bread) has introduced new set of dimsum/ menu to the patrons.

Were fond of seeing this snack but their version has that authentic taste and the filling is soo full unlike others. Best paired with noodles (comfort food).

This one is new to my palate. A dimsum soup perhaps; which includes crab meat and other seafood.

Another version of a dimsum soup. Savory ground meat filling wrapped in Chinese cabbage.

These lightly fried dumplings accompanied with soy and citrus truly highlights why Crown Park is one of the best. So “umami” that you can’t stop eating.

Not your usual springroll.  Mushrooms and other vegetables were used instead of meat.

These were for dessert, what’s a meal without dessert. Made from ground glutinous rice with purple yam filling rolled in lightly fried sesame seeds.

At first, I never thought that this kind of dinner will fill our stomachs. But what do you know, looks can really be deceiving. Plus it’s light on the pocket.

For Asian-themed nights like these, never think of anything else but Crown Park Restaurant located at SM City Naga and at Crown Park Hotel near Plaza Quince Martires.
